Chief Engineer (Malaysian preferred)

Vessel: Sapura Constructor (The Sapura Constructor is the Subsea Construction Vessel equipped with a saturation dive system, 2 x remotely operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 5-years in similar rank and similar vessel type (Subsea Construction Vessel)
• Head of department for the engineering and in-situ diving equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring that all members of the Engine Room Department are thoroughly conversant with the Oil in Navigable Waters
• Taking responsibility for the efficient, safe running and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, diving (classed items) and ancillary equipment and deck machinery on board the vessel, together with the safe and efficient use of the manpower available.
• Ensuring the operation of all machinery Planned Maintenance Systems, and Survey Planning with inspection and verification of items of plant, to maintain the vessels class.
• Being available for 24 hr. call out, as not a watchkeeper
• The upkeep of the vessels Technical and SOP Manuals
• Ensuring the certification package is in date and complies with DESIGN & IMCA.
• In cooperation with the Vessel superintendent prepared dry dock specification and Work scopes
• Assist Master for the implementing the Company& 39;s policies and Safety Management System
